Try it wired next time.
Hello cnet. I have been looking for a solution to my problem for a few weeks now, but to no avail, which is why I'm hoping you guys can help me
Some background: I've just gotten my laptop fixed a few weeks ago after the screen was cracked for almost a half a year. I think the internet was running fine before then but I'm not sure and I don't want to jump to conclusions and I'm trying to see if there's a fix before I bring my laptop back to the person who fixed the screen.
Basically, whenever I play games, I will get random lag spikes that last for a few seconds at a time. They occur every few minutes or so. When I did not have this laptop (when it was broken), I was using an older 2007 macbook pro for playing the same game and received no lag spikes whatsoever. These spikes happen on any online game I play and I'm unsure as to what is causing it. Do you guys have any idea what it could be?
If you need more information I will gladly provide it, but I don't think I had any lag before my screen got broken. I'm not really sure anymore because I haven't used it in such a long time and back when it was broken, I was dorming in college and the router was right underneath the desk on which my laptop stood.
Thank you guys very much!! I hope I find an answer soon
