When I have more than one router I use them as WAPs or clients. That way I get one big (W)LAN.
As there is no WiFi player that does what you ask you look to put the content on a cloud on the Internet or just fix the LAN.
Dear All,
My friend wants to setup some Wifi music players in his house to play music simultaneouly. His house is about 3500 sq.ft.
The broadband RJ45 jack is located in his living room connecting to Router1 in my illustration.
He has laid network connections to all rooms to connect to different routers.
In order to facilitate wireless connections of all devices, all routers have the same SSID and password.
We have tried to use Google Home Mini. If all Home Mini are connected a single router, they can play music simultaneously.
However, due to signal reason, each Home Mini at each room is connected its nearest router.
As a result, all Home Mini are not in a single LAN and simultaneous playing is not feasible.
Does anyone know if there is any Wifi music player in the market that can achieve his goal in this network topology?
Many thanks.
Ray
