Question

Wifi does not work on new HP laptop

Jul 23, 2015 8:40PM PDT

Hi Everyone! I just got a new HP Spectre laptop. It works great except that for some reason I have extremely poor, if any, wifi connection from my room. On my old laptop it worked fine, and on my current smartphone it works fine, but for some reason on my new laptop it does not. Also, my wifi works fine when I am close to the router but it seems to fade the further I get. I have an ASUS router. Any suggestions would be very helpful! Thank you!

Or if you can't get it stronger, then plug into an Etek dual antenna wifi device and use it. I got one for my daughter and it really pulls in the signal.

stronger wifi
