WiFi Control of BluRay player

I'm having difficulty finding a Blu-ray player to mount behind a wall or in a cabinet concealing it from view. Most players require IR access to control the player. I would like to use a smart phone, or even a WiFi remote, to control basic features.

Critical to our need is having the player completely out of sight but still be able to control it.

Look into IR blasters/extenders

That's what you need. Keeps all the equipment hidden but you extend the reach of IR just enough to control the device(s).
