Question

Wifi adapter all of a sudden not finding particular router

Jul 26, 2015 4:11AM PDT

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can crack this for me cause I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. So as the subject says my wifi adapter all of a sudden is not finding a particular router, here's what I know so far...

The router
The router is working correctly as my smartphone and games console is connected fine with no issues.
The wifi adapter
Is picking up other routers fine and immediately (tested with my smartphone using mobile hotspot and it found and connected).
The computer
Had no significant changes (installed Skype that's it).
Is located right next to games console (which is connected fine).
And here's what I've tried so far
Disabling & un-installing wifi adapter from Device Manager.
Disabled firewall.
Finding the router manually.
Cleared the router from Known Networks.

It has now been >24 hours and the router has still not been picked up once, any help on this anomaly would be appreciated; many thanks in advance.
