WiFi

Hi,
I am getting a new laptop shortly. Found the perfect model but it uses 802.11b/g WiFi rather than 802.11n. Is this a major issue? Is 802.11n that much better?
Cheers, Andy

We've had people discover faster connections with G at times in their home networks. Go figure.

Not a big deal.

Supposedly one of the advantages to N is that it does better at ignoring interference. Not an issue for most ppl.

For me it is about future proofing. If there is a $25 N upgrade I would take it, but I wouldn't choose a whole different lappy based on N. Besides if it ever becomes critical I am sure you can get N support with peripherals.
