Some like my HP dv6910us has a WiFi on/off switch. If that's off or I'm over 100 feet from my router (I have it on the first floor of the home) then I can't see my hot spot.

"Hi ...... laptop can not find my wifi connection, ........ in advance."

You say that the laptop cannot find "my" wifi connection. Does it show any other wifi links?

Was the wifi working earlier?

From a channel issue to a gone WiFi card. Your post states a problem but offers no details on the laptop or much else.

I know folk are used to taking such to a server counter and telling this much but here we can't see the laptop so you have to fill in the blanks.

Find go back under that wifi card and copy the name of the wifi adapter into Google and find a new driver.
