The D80 is at a nice price now with the D90 being out, and the D80 performs very well. All her lens will work.
My wife has a regular film Nikon SLR camera and has been talking about upgrading to a digital SLR. (this is unrelated to my other post regarding the problem with my Canon CCD sensor)
She has a couple lenses for her current camera. If she gets a Nikon digital SLR, such as the Nikon D80, will she be able to use her current zoom lens on the new camera? Is there something I can look for in the camera or lens spec's that will tell me if they are compatible?
Also, she keeps saying that she already has the Nikon body but does that even matter? I would think the body is the most important part to replace...it's the lenses that can re-used.
