It seems like the error is associated with windows live

It seems like the error is associated with windows live instant messenger. Uninstall that and see if it stops.

it's a normal website.

In IE at least. And no errors.
In Firefox it shows only half and "loading" icon that stays forever.

Kind of a (small) portal to msn. Not necessarily related to Windows Live Messenger, I'd say.

I'd do 2 things:
- Start>Run>MSCONFIG, go to the startup tab and uncheck the line that's responsible for running it. Could be a link, could be IE with some parameters, could be any other Microsoft program. Try them one by one and you'll find it.
- Check the setting for script errrors in Tools>Internet Options>Advanced. In my IE7 there are 2 (both in the View Webpages section, one for Internet Explorer and one for other programs). If set, turn them off, so they are not reported.

IE: Scripts errors
by EL MACHOTE / September 27, 2008 7:59 AM PDT

Windows explorer is known for scripts errors.
It seems to me that is always going to be a problem, no matter what Windows O/S is being used.
I had my share of that.
Once you start the pc and it has finish loading, open the browser and click on (tools)than scroll down click on(internet options)than click on the (advance)tab on the right upper corner, once there look (browsing)options and check to(Disable script debugging Internet Explorer).

Cheers.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
