Sep 25, 2011 5:59AM PDT

My laptop that I just purchased has this installed...I will never use it does it have any purpose other than using it with a bluetooth?

It's a large file and takes up a lot of space. is it safe to delete it.

If you're not going to use the bluetooth in your laptop, it's safe to uninstall the bluetooth software.

And let's hear how big this is. The smallest HDD I see today is 250GB so is this about 100MB tops?

Why should I keep something I will never use? It keeps dumping an empty file in my documents..

Because I find folk unable to reinstall later.

As to the empty file, that sounds cosmetic and nothing to fret about.

Can you tell us more why this is needed?

I'm using the native Windows 7 stack and it's better than Widcomm.
