http://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-un65eh6000/ made NO mention of internet capabilities so why add a WiFi stick? Why not an box like Roku, Apple, Amazon Fire TV or such?

Well pretty much i bought chromecast, i wanted to stream my pc to to my tv... not just movies but like the whole desktop ect and then i hooked up chromecast and it said i needed wifi, thought it was in chromecast it self.
I didn't think that's what a Chromecast does. I own one and see many folk try to "stream my pc to my tv" and flame over trying to get a desktop over such a link.
In short, all well discussed so that's the wrong hardware. Same goes for the WiFi stick for the TV.
If you want to stream from PC to TV the cheapest way is the HDMI cable. After that we have the boxes and sticks. (not a job for Chromecast.)

Any other way minus an hdmi cable, wanted to do it wireless because the hdmi cord would be running through my kitchen.
Tom
A wireless HDMI link. This negates having to deal with WiFi at all.
Microsoft has a truly interesting product at http://www.cnet.com/products/microsoft-wireless-display-adapter/
