Question

wi-fi status shows connected, but i have no internet access

Jun 24, 2015 10:52AM PDT

hello! I know, that this question has already been asked many times, but i still cannot find something that works. I've tried everything-deleting c/temp files, cmd prompt ipconfig/release ipconfig/renew , network sharing center enable/disable wifi, deleting LAN card - they work for 10 to 15 mins and then i lose the access again. Please help me! I would be very grateful!

Recycled cable modem, router and same. In a hour it worked all on its own. The ISP was at fault. Lesson? Don't fix your PC, call the ISP.

Hi and thank you for the fast response! So my isp is Mtel (i am not from the usa and you're probably not familiar with this provider), my router is tp link-wr740N, my laptop is asus x55vd and i do not seem to know what switch is. Would it help, if i give you my ipconfig/all results?
