Why would you want to access Internet on a tiny device ?

Nov 3, 2005 2:26PM PST

I think Internet is a marvellous tool, and equally wireless telephones, but to mix them? I like to access Internet on a full screen with a proper keyboard and my Internet time is something that is controlled by myself when I need to check e-mails or do some work, (or even entertainment), but not on a 24/7 basis, It's like watching the news at certain hours on TV, vs keeping glued to one of the global news channels. And just as important using a tiny little key-pad and miniature screen to surf with, get a life! OK maybe if you are an obsessive stock-trader a black-berry device can be useful, but folks, we came a long way on this planet without these devices, which useful tools as they are, are just that, tools, not electronic lifestyles. Maybe one day we will be able to make plug-ins for the brain as in Gibson's ground breaking cyberspace novels, buts that a Brave New World in the future and China will be the global power by then, good luck to my grand-children.
