why wont my samsung smarthub bluray player recognize bluray

if this is the wrong question for this forum, please point me in the right direction. thanks in advance.
i have a samsung smarthub bluray player which has suddenly decided to not recognize bluray discs anymore. it still plays dvds. its under a year old.

Could be anything from failed board, sensor or dust

At under 1 year it's likely in warranty so let Samsung fix it.
