Question

Why wont my PC boot?

Sep 14, 2017 11:22AM PDT

Hello. I recently built my pc and it ran perfectly from day one for about 3 weeks. Then one day it just shut off randomly. Then it kept shutting off randomly. I shut it down for 3 days, came back to power it on and it wont turn on. The only way i get it to turn on is messing with the f panel connectors, but still it shuts off within 5 minutes. I've tried reconnecting the f panel connectors twice with no luck. I'm at a loss. I'll list my parts list below.

Answer
Make it smaller

Psu + mobo + cpu/hsf.

Nothing else connected or plugged in.

Use a small screw driver and short the power pins on the mobo for a second.

Does it power up and stay powered up?
