Question

Why won't my laptop stay connected to wifi?

So I have had my laptop for a few years, but it has been working fine no problem, until recently. About 4 months ago, my laptop would just randomly disconnect from the wifi. Typically I can close my laptop, open it back up, then reconnect to the internet and I'll be fine for a little while. This "fine time" can range from days to hours to mere minutes, and lately its been minutes apart. It's not happening to my boyfriend's computer or any of our other devices. and I have updated, restarted, and rebooted the laptop itself, as well as the Network Adapter and my wifi router more times than I can count. I'm positive it isn't my wifi because every other device works fine, so if someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

How much free drive space remains?

Sounds like a browser cache file space getting smaller and smaller over time.

So let's go with all other devices are fine.

Then it's your laptop with an issue. Try reducing the distance to the router by half BEFORE we get into new adapters and more.
