Question

Why with my new unlocked Moto G 4 LTE

Feb 25, 2015 7:45AM PST

why when other people I know used a couple apps to stream movies and mirror to tv via chromecast that they could just use like Allcast with the movie app without having to add a video player. That is why I am confused and wondering why I needed to take extra steps to enable phone to play movie. These other phones did not require a player app to be downloaded in order to play movies, why did my phone require that and the other phones did not?

This phone is the unlocked Moto G 4 LTE. Some of the other phones were Samsung, HTC and such. With my phone I had to go through a whole deal of trying to get it to even work, plus in order to even watch a movie I have to download it first before it will enable me to view via chromecast mirroring to tv using the Allcast and then the movie app.
