Question

Why there is no way to feedback CNet?

Jul 17, 2011 7:30AM PDT

Hi
I noticed a technical problem in CNet download section and was not able to find a way to report that! Is there a way to feed back to some one in charge at all?
Any way to whom it may concern, I noticed that when you sort the list of software based on user rating, the average number of stars given to that software is the criteria and the number of users that this average is come from is ignored. As a result in this list a software with just a few votes of 5 stars (i.e. average=5 star) is ranked higher than a software with thousands of users vote for that and an average of 4.5 star. So this rating can't show how really people like or dislike a software. And is totally pointless.

At the bottom of every page, there is a "Help Center" link. You can use that to look up common questions and answers, as well as email Customer Support. You should receive a response within 3 business days, depending on the severity of the issue. You can also post in the Download.com Feedback forum as Mark suggested, though it is not frequently monitored by CNET staff members, making the Help Center the preferred feedback mechanism.

Hope this helps,
John
