Why the forums link was moved again?

Oct 11, 2004 6:32AM PDT

I have not been to the forums for a while. Why is the link to the forums is moved again? The forums link has been moved in the past quiet often. I had a very hard time to find the forums because the link was moved again. I used to be able to get to the forums from the main page very easy. Please stop moving the link. If it is not broken, then don't try to fix it.

Hi JJ - recently, the forum database servers were taken down for maintanence and maybe that is why the link was different for you now.

For a long time, perhaps 2 years, the Community forums were not listed on the front main page but has been recently put on the front:

http://www.cnet.com/ Look at left column under CNet tools.

You may have also had the old ZDNet Community forum link which was changed with a new forum system last October to the current CNet Community forum.

Time marches on (now who used to say that).
