stated that there were 46 political prisoners on Cuba. Slightly less than those who were behind bars under USA supported Pinochet...
In any case this was about Cuban health care, remember?
arent the drs that the people get good enough for the castro are is he to good for that?
Who was no where near as bad as Castro anyway.
But this is about Michael Moore and why he dragged people to Cuba for Health Care. The premise was that they could only get adequate "free" care by going to Cuba, which is absolute BS.
non-resident Americans be given free health care? In Europe it'd be impossible unless they were legal residents. They'd be charged and would have to fix that here in the USA with the insurance company that they didn't have...
that you love so much don't offer this? Sweden, UK, Canada? Why not? How hard is it to get resident status?
Of course, not as potentially embarrassing to the US as Cuba, which is the intention, obviously.
but I do know that in U.K the legal residents and the citizens, no matter income, have access to medical care for a very small amount of money. They don't have to show any insurance card upon arrival but will be treated accordingly and then billed a very small amount of money (it was a long time ago I was there and one of my co-workers then had to go to the ER so it mat have changed since!).
However if yo aren't a resident but a tourist let's say, you will be admitted and treated accordingly, but you will end up with a rather big bill that you'll have to hope that your health insurance company (if you have one) will reimburse you for. I imagine it is the same thing in other European countries for non-residents.
BTW, last thing I saw Sweden was ruled by a conservative coalition and BTW, the prime minister is coming to visit GW from what I have understood. Shouldn't GW turn down such "SOCIALIST" leaders totally?
referring to terry it was meant to say when the person was stable :oe had a heart attack they would stabilize.
i dont see any thing out of line.
if thats not the issue please point it out ty

then when your stable they may send you to a charity hospital"
and Euro-poltroons all across the continent are rejecting the socialist disease. Soon all that will be left is Fidel, Kim, Hugo and a few other idiots.
if they would accept a non-resident to get medical treatment for free, I find it logical that they go to Cuba due to the short distance.
the attempt to smear the US. That is the purpose of this stunt, nothing more.
Aren't we proud over the fact that we have to pay astronomic amounts of money for health insurance and for medical care? So much that some people don't even dream about getting an insurance! Pride, Ed. Pride...
that they cant get medical help?
not in the usa maybe where your from but all americans evan the law breakers can go to an er for help
You know perfectly well that Moore's motivation, aide from lining his pockets, is to put down the US.
Yours too?
you have to PAY for your visit if you aren't insured! If you can't pay you have to rely upon charity and HOPE they will help you. You have to be humiliated and ASK for help. You're a customer, not a patient! That's how it works here in the USA where I come from...
care because we're carrying the load for a whole boatload of people who don't pay. That includes illegals.
It's that simple.
Is that bothering you? Or are you proud of what Kissinger and the CIA were behind when they planned it and then backed it?
since you bring it up at every opportunity no matter how irrelevant it is.
And yet you seem to be perfectly happy with despots like Castro, Chavez, etc.
Your writing style was so similar to Mark's (another fellow member of this forum) that I must have mistaken you for him.
And when looking close into your username I see that you changed it from road runner to roadrunner for some reason. But anyway, your way of writing is exactly like this fellow member named Mark and your opinions too actually. And his was I thought was very unique, but, I guess I was wrong!
You change your entire user profile! I recall you've been a member of this forum since May 2nd and when looking at your profile now you became a member as of today... Just an observation.
