Hi Sandy.
Have a look at;
http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6142_102-0.html?forumID=5&threadID=238615&messageID=2741080#2741080
I've used your sample, eg I just got a new car with a/c, P/S P/W and added a few words after that.
It seems to post ok.
How does it 'end' the post when you try it? Does the post end as soon as you type a forward slash, or when you try to post it? What does 'end' mean? What window is displayed when it is ended?
For information I previewed my post first, (I always do), then hit Submit post.
Can you try it again, (eg as a reply to my post above), and let us have a screen print?
Also, try it with Firefox or IE, and see if you can reproduce the problem with a different browser.

used in body of post end post??
I'm sure it's something to do with Java rules (which I know not one thing about) but didn't happen months or years ago in my posts here.
Example: I just got a new car with a/c, P/S P/W. It doesn't do it in this forum & this post but DOES (@ 1st only in XP Forum but NOW in Sec,Virus & Spyware as well).
On those forums I must use full word "with" or post ends with 1st forward slash there-in when I click preview post. Doesn't seem to happen on other sites where I post.
I'm using Sea Monkey 1.1.9 with Sun Java JRE SE 1.4.2_17 (Both latest suitable for my system).
Simple work around (such as always leave a space post the slash or ?
Or a bug in those forums to be fixed? Thanks in Advance! Sandy
