Can you tell WHAT is it continually updating. For an antivirus it's quite OK if it is updated every day.
Also please tell something more about your PC.

Windows Update Error

Hi,

Please mention which OS or what exactly you system is trying to update.

Assuming that you have Windows OS or I might be wrong, posting the solution.

This could happen if update isn’t correctly installed the first time, or your Windows Update settings can’t detect the update.

I would suggest you to follow below link in order to know if any particular update is causing this problem.

If above solution does not work for you, then you should

Please revert if it works.

I once had the same problem in my computer. It always keeps updating. I turned Update off. It never happens since then. Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update > Change Settings, check Never check for updates (Not recommended) from the dropdown list, click OK.
Updates will never come again.

computer always installing updates

I want to advise you NOT to turn of automatic updates. It is extremely important to keep Windows up to date, as some updates include critical security patches. If they are not installed your computer may be vulnerable to exploits that can circumvent any installed anti-virus software or firewall.
