The other reasons are too many to list. From your game settings to odd other reasons like single channel memory.
The 1050 ti is my go to solution for gaming on a budget but a stepup to the 1060 is called for those that want more than playable.
I disagree with "should get." Why? Games arrive with EYE CANDY enabled with frame rates suffering. You have to learn how to set it up. I'm running into more and more folk that don't know this. But the information is out there. Example and change for the game in question:

So this works against over 60: LCD is only 60 so you won't see more than that. Eye candy, and settings out of the box. Drivers too.
I have the Dell Inspiron 7000 gaming series and for some reason have never gotten the frames this gtx1050 ti should get, can't even run overwatch at 60
