Why long video delay fr mixer to projector/tv?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have too long of video delay on our projectors & TV's. Here's the setup:
1. Canon GL-1 cam's & PC running Easy Worship go into Videonics mixer.
2. RCA-out from mixer into a Verbatim DVR for recording
2.b. (Side-note: if I bypass this, the video quality extremely poor and choppy; but this hardware seems to clean it up somehow and I don't know why).
3. RCA-out from DVR to a Radio Shack 4-channel RCA/S-Video Distribution Amplifier
4. RCA-out from distribution amp to Projector (less than 100-feet)
5. Another RCA-out from distribution amp to an RF Modulator to convert signal to coaxial cable
6. Out from RF Modulator to a 1-in/3-out cable splitter
7. Out from cable splitter to 2 separate, 4-channel RF distribution amplifiers
8. Each out from the distribution amplifiers goes to its own respective tv via RG-6coaxial cable.
The delay in video is unusually long, so that EVEN WITH A SLIGHT AUDIO DELAY, it cannot sync. Delaying the audio any more will sound unnatural in our small venue.
Any ideas how to rectify? We'd really appreciate your help.
