Question

Why ismy google photos collage Screen Saver gone?

Sep 16, 2016 2:15PM PDT

My PC had to have Windows 10 reinstalled and when it did the google collage screen saver option was not listed under possible screensavers. It may have been called google photos but I've tried looking and can't find it. It lets you select photos and randomly throws them onto the screen at time increments of your choosing.

Your google screensaver doesn't come with Windows 10. So you would have to download and install it, just like you did on the previous install of Windows 10.

Thank you for replying to my question about my google screen saver.
I know that it didn't come with Windows 10 but I wasn't the one who put it on the PC and now that it's gone I do not know how to get it back. If anyone knows of a location for me to download it I would be very pleased.

You know why it is gone, so the question in the subject line of your first post is fully answered (by you). Now you have a second question: where can I download the "google collage screen saver" or the "google photos" screensaver.
The answer to that, I expect, is "from google.com". But if you don't know the exact name that might be difficult.

A lesson learnt: if you (or somebody else) installs something: keep the install program on some location on your hard disk and include that location in your regular backup. Then, if you need to reinstall Windows, it's easy to install.
