Why is the CNET audio quality on videos so bad ?

It reminds me of a time where you could choose between RealAudio and windows Media when listening to Brian Cooley morning show on CNET Radio

That one was better, the audio failed in the first phrase "one of the most ..."

I was actually listening to cnet update on facebook (About shopping on facebook), but here´s the audio on the site.

It sounds clipped and compressed to me, is it a loudness or transcoding issue ?
