So forget about direct transfers for a moment. Format the card in the phone then install Dropbox on Apple and Phone and let it sync over. Use ES FileExplorer to move items to where you want them to be.
This has become a frustrating issue for me.
I bought my dad a Micro SD card (no brander) for his LG Ultimate 2. I've checked to see if it supports the 32 GB Micro SD I bought, and it does. It transferred the music fine from my Mac to the Micro SD, but once in the phone, it scanned for music but was unable to find anything. I've tried all kinds of stuff, like formatting it, trying the Micro SD in my tablet (after some trial and error I got it to work). Also, as a test, I put MY Micro SD card from inside my tablet inside the LG Ultimate 2. Tada! It worked. As another experiment, I decided to only transfer a few songs onto the new Micro SD. It went inside the phone fine.
I'm nearly ready to tear my hair out. Why is this so hard?
Additionally, I helped my cousin buy a Micro SD for his Alcatel OneTouch, which is also compatible with 32 GB. His did the same EXACT thing, even though his Micro SD is a name brand (SanDisk).
I'm thoroughly baffled. I've tried everything I can think of. Any tips, advice, or idea what might be happening?
