Question

Why is my laptop different help please!!

May 2, 2017 4:29PM PDT

Looking at the specifications of the msi notebook gs60 2pm on the msi website it says that there is an intel i7 processor and 256gb ssd as well as 1tb hdd. My laptop is the exact same model however has i5 and only the 1tb HDD, why is this?
Also my hdd broke the other day so i lost all my data. Upon wishing to buy a new system storage SSD preferably i saw that the model specs online issues 2 m.2 SSD ports. However upon opening my notebook to check for any motherboard issues i only see one port available for use whereas the other one has been soldered shut and not accessible to put an adapter to have 2 m.2 SSD ports why is this?

Since your hdd is broke you should be able to remove it and replace with a 2.5 inch ssd.
