According to Net Market Share, while all other versions of Internet Explorer appear to be losing ground (IE6, IE8, IE9, IE10, and IE11), IE7 shows a general upward trend.
It doesn't make sense to me because it's an older browser. I was wondering if anyone had any theories to help explain this trend.
