Years ago we used 4 monitor Matrox cards. Today you may find folk trying to do with what they have and hitting limits on cards or other PC limits. For a trade show we've used those USB video cards too.

Really need some help. Trying to get 5 VGA monitors connected to my Dell Precision 370. Yup, an older box, but it's got 4Gb RAM and 350Gb of Disk. It's running W7. I have 4 PCI slots, and 1 PCIe? slot available.
I just want to use this setup for monitoring websites NOT gaming or anything graphic intense.
I installed two Nvidia 6200 video cards. One of the cards worked great with 2 VGA Monitors hanging off it, but the 2nd card would NOT work. Checking Device Properties showed a Code 12 for the 2nd card. I tried EVERYTHING I could find on the net to get rid of that Code 12 but no luck. BIOS Update, Registry updates, changed PCI slot,
I just returned the Nvidia's.
Does anybody have ANY suggested configurations on how I can get 5 VGA monitors running on this machine that's won't cost me thou$and$??
Any help would be sincerely appreciated!
