Question

Why in the world is CNET not allowing me to reply?

by silvertiger7 / July 26, 2014 3:31 PM PDT

I've wanted to reply to the post under my own thread for ages but no matter how I tried to accomplish it, it doesn't let me.

It's this thread here.

I'm trying to reply to R. Proffitt who replied directly to my post.

TIA for any help!

If so, I see you managed to reply a couple of minutes later. A temporary glitch, perhaps?

You don't give details about the problem you were having, but I have noticed this morning, (here in the UK), a delay in the browser connecting to something called fonts.cnet.com , or similar. So there may be (temporary) server issues behind the scenes.

Or there is a continuing but inconsistent problem with submitting posts as described here;

Hopefully no more problems for you though.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
