1. iCalc: That's not a spreadsheet application like Excel. One wonders why you didn't use Excel or Numbers.
2. Agreed, and that's the fault of Intuit who, hold your breath, claim that they are going to bring back Quicken for the Mac. Totally rebuilt and equal to the Windows version. In the mean time, you could have been running Quicken for Windows on your Mac, using VM software. Windows runs on a Mac!
3. Millions of people use HP printers without a problem. Maybe yours had a problem or HP was not supporting it anymore
4. Drag the App to the trash. Yes, got to admit, that's really difficult.
5. Finder will show you everything you want. I wonder if you mean something else. Do you mean the "Find" command? Selecting a file that has been found using the "Find" command will display the location of the file.
To show the date in Finder, just view "As List" (Same as Windows)
I had heard such great things about the Mac and was tired of all the nonsense of the PC. After trying to adjust to the Mac with much frustration I am going back to the PC.
Points of frustration.
1. Icalc is a very limited software after using Excel (Maybe Bill Gates made it that way as Aple is a competer)
2. Financial software is very weak. I have used Quicken for over 20 years and the Mac vrsion is VERY limited so it is no use to me.
3. I tried to get my HP printer to print in grayscale and even with help from an HP employee, NO LUCK.
4. Unstalling software is a nightmare requireing many steps.
5. Finder does not show location or date of file. Trying to delete many unwanted files is impossible as Finder states the file or folder can not be deleted.
THese are just a few of my frustrations and reasons for switching back.
