Why 'End Now'?

by zpxykm / January 13, 2007 3:41 AM PST

Hello all:

My OS is winXp pro pack2. Each time when I shut-down the pc, it always prompts a window asking you to press the button 'end now'for some programs, such as 'explorer.exe' 'hiddenfaxwindow', ... Usually it needs you to do 3-4 times, I am getting tired of it!

Is there any way to avoid doing it? Thanks. --Zhao

Hello Tomron: In start/run/msconfig, there are 'General' 'SYSTEM.INI' 'WIN.INI' 'BOOT.INI'
'Service' and 'Startup' drop-down buttons, where
can I find the function you said. Thanks.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
