Your post is nothing but fear, uncertainty and doubt. The claims you made were dismissed years ago about Microsoft collecting data via spyware or other. Research more before you post and back it up.
-> In closing, why not get off that wagon and try a Macintosh or Linux?

Microsoft claims that it has first amendment rights to hack your computer and even includes its hacking software in critical updates. Norton has put more holes through the Linksys firewall than a country stop sign has.
My question. Why dosen't the antivirus and firewall programs stop them.
Example. My books fell on my mouse, skidded across the desk and onto the floor until out of range. Media Player opened and played some file from the web. When I killed that I found that Microsoft had hacked my computer and even downloaded its latest commercials into Media Player.
I don't have indepth knowledge about the interworkings, but it seems that Norton has put more holes through the Linksys firewall than a country stop sign has.
Additionally, Microsoft has this so called error reporting program monitoring my computer for an opportunity to steal information.
I use Mozilla and I have everything turned off and also disabled in IE. Norton is on and the Linksys firewall is on.
It seems that the snakes have divided up the hen house.
Thanks
