Question

Why doesnt my LG G2's OTG mouse work?

Feb 22, 2015 4:15AM PST

I am trying to recover photos from a broken LG G2 (Screen cracked, lower half wont register touch), I bought a OTG android USB adapter, but the mouse only appears on the screen sometimes, and when it does, when I move the mouse, the cursor doesn't move.

If someone could please help me it would be very appreciated!

Phone: LG G2
Adapter: Samsung OTG USB Adapter
Mouse: Logitech

Answer
digitizer issue

generally speaking, screen glass is usually attached to the digitizer. if the glass is broken or cracked, it could mean the digitizer is damaged so you may not be able to do much on the screen..

if you are able to see your phone in windows explorer by attaching it to your computer.you may be able to drag your photos over that way.
