Question

Why does WLM show only HTML code in received emails?

Aug 22, 2013 5:34PM PDT

I'm trying to help a friend who uses Windows Live Mail under Win 7. For the last two weeks, most (but not all) of the messages in his inbox are displayed as the source HTML code, with all the tags, rather than the formatted message. there seems to be no way to display the messages normally.

I've checked all the settings in WLM and can't find anything wrong. His server, Yahoo, shows correctly formatted messages when we use webmail.

Any ideas? would an uninstall/reinstall of WLM help?

No,I didn't try Thunderbird, as This would be rather drastic. I'm looking for a fix to WLM
