Is that the only one of your browsers that freeze so often? Or do Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome (all free to try) do the same?

Freezing visual explorer...
Nov 8, 2011 8:16AM PST

I wanted to try a different browser and this one came with cnet editorial approval, I like the design and functionality I am justy a little suprised at the amount of freezes occurring. Not had the problem with the commonly used browsers ie9 or Firefox not a lot in it and chrome still unsure certainly not as fast and user friendly as claimed... I like the browser would be grateful for a fix if known!

Seems to be a bug

and so that can be reported to the developers here http://www.visual-explorer.com/support/index.htm

I would have suggested asking the same question in their Support Forums, but I don't see any traffic there so I am not sure if any help would be available. You would be the 2nd poster it seems;

CNET's Download.com has only had 59 downloads of this browser since 2009 so I wonder if this is a 'one man band' developer who has tried his hand at creating an IE based web browser. In fact that forum page also makes me wonder as I see only one post with one reply. It looks like this is a sideline for the developer who has other interests in http://www.globalcad.com

Interestingly, their forums don't appear too busy either. http://www.globalcad.com/support/forums/

Hi Segnome,

I've been an avid user of Visual Explorer for a few years now and I'm just getting used to the new features in version 3. Can you give me a little more detail as to how the browser is freezing when you viait Facebook so I can check it out myself?

Hi, the white transparent curtain appears and then face book funtions will not operate until page reloaded. I have now changed to chromeplus with IE mode... have to say impressed.
