Frankly this is not a good sign. I've been toying with Prey and it's pretty nice for what it does.
I can only guess this machine has some nasties. Let's see if Grif's advice finds anything.

I have a laptop with Windows XP SP3 installed. When I wake my computer up from hibination it always starts Publisher 2007 and then the capture pictures from Video box appears which starts my built in webcam!
I then have to cancel the Capture box and close Publisher once I select don't save.
Can anyone give some solutions?
