Question

Why does Palin care?

by JP Bill / September 26, 2014 9:20 PM PDT
About the the truthfulness of the people that live at 1400 Pennsylvania Ave?

That's why Presidents have chauffeurs? (Presidential timber doesn't have to remember where "home" is?)

In the same speech Palin said she, like many people, rarely wear jewelry in Alaska where people are more often "out chopping wood or butchering a moose."

Sounds like "my kinda' woman", I guess they don't put numbers on houses where "butchering a moose" is daily routine.

isn't so important for her to remember the address of a house she never occupied, much like BO didn't have to remember there are only 50 states in the Union since he didn't have to go to the other '7' he thought existed?

BTW...she's right about the jewelry.....I rarely see any women wear any here except on Sunday when they head to church, and the men rarely are seen with their wedding bands on. I stopped wearing a wedding ring shortly after I moved here because I was playing in the dirt or hauling brush, etc. and rings get caked with grime or get caught in machinery too easily (not to mention necklace chains that hang too low).

OH....regarding house numbers

I didn't have any when I moved here....just a State Route number and a mailbox number. When the E-911 system was brought in between 5-10 years after I moved here, we were assigned house numbers relative to the 'miles' we were located on our road from the nearest intersection....so if you live .214 miles from that stop sign like me, the house number is 214 whereas my next door neighbor is actually numbered 1119 because the acreage between our two properties (no houses located between) is that much more.
