Why does my tv switch to 3d mode automatically?

I have a samsung led tv and it is from the series 6 (6400). I never use the 3d but one day i accidentally hit the 3d button on the remote and it switched to 3d mode. I hit the button again and it turned off. BUT, every time it is turned off and then on again it automatically switches to 3d mode. I have to hit the 3d button on the remote to turn it off but i dont want to keep hitting the button. Can I stop it from doing this? Thanks.

Did this

I did this already. I went to the menu, picture, then 3D and turn it off. However, when I shut off the t.v. and then turn it back on again it switches back to the 3D mode. When it comes on it will go to normal mode for just a split second but then blinks and switches to 3D.

Could this be the t.v. sensing the 3D feature then automatically switching over? I don't have an option to turn off a Auto 3D feature though. Maybe an update to the t.v. will help?

Remember I don't see the full model number.

My t.v. does not have this feature or ability.

I am not able to turn on or off the 3D Auto View. I simply can not go into the menu and turn 3D Auto View off/on. Unless there is a software update that I can download. I don't know if that is possible though. I will get the full model number for you. However, my t.v. is about 5 years old if that helps.

In the USA, just call 1800SAMSUNG

For a faster answer. They will either just know or show you how to get the model #
