It's much more difficult to pinpoint the cause then to find a solution: another audio card will most likely solve this issue. if it's onboard audio (that is, on the motherboard) you can choose from a real card or a USB thing.

I have a loud static (fuzz) noise coming out of my left speaker. Here's some details:
The static noise only happens right after my computer stops playing sound
Every time a song, video, or noise in a game ends the static noise blares very loudly for about 2 second and then disappears. This happens after EVERY song. It happens any time the computer goes from being loud to quiet.
The noise only comes out of the left speaker.
I have tried external speakers, headphones, and earbuds. In each case, the loud static noise only comes out of the left speaker.
Happens in all audio ports.
I have tested each of the before-mentioned devices in both audio ports on the front of my case, and in the audio ports on the motherboard itself. The port I use makes no difference in the loud noise.
Happens when the computer is muted.
I turned the volume to zero on the speakers in Realtek Audio and in the Window's control panel. Then I played a song. I couldn't hear the song, but when it ended the loud noise blared out of my left speaker for about 2 second and then disappeared again.
I put this under desktops because I don't think it's a peripheral issue. I am completely lost. I have no idea what is causing this. Please help!
