Why does my music sound like chipmunks are singing?

by zizo76 / March 2, 2007 6:59 AM PST

I don't know what I downloaded or what I changed. All I know that when I play music on my PC it sounds like the chipmunks are singing. I think it is a problem with my sound card, because I tried all of the suggestions given by microsoft and none of them worked. I would like to avoid a Sytem restore, but this looks right now as the best solution. If somthing similar has happened to you, or you know how to correct this please do tell. Thank you.

Use the DRIVER ROLLBACK feature of XP if you have it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
