Why does my HP continously crash?

Nov 9, 2005 11:32AM PST

I had a zv5000, and now a dv1000. Both have crashed on a continous basis ever since I took them out of the boxes. It's not a virus, it's with the drivers. It always says page fault in non page fault area, or irql equal not less equal. I have to control myself from throwing it thru the window, what is going on. HP won't help, all they do is have it picked up only to be returned with the same problem. Thanks

Today's plagues?

Today I run into far too much spyware and P2P use.

Sadly we must protect ourselves.

If there is a hardware issue, be sure to keep calling HP.

hp in general seems very spread thin when it comes to quilty control.it seems to suit it,s larger contracts with companys as fare as providing sound product as well as a very active teck service for those clients. The home sector/privet use is way off track so it apearse in the pc customer ratings.Hp,s lack luster proformance record can not be denied.I do hope they can make the investment you have made in them pay off with success

Kick it up a notch. Refuse to talk to the first level of support. You will eventually get the issue resolved.
