Remove the case cover and if things improve then some part has become heat sensitive.
The sad thing is that some crashes are due to bugs in software. It could be a mix of game, drivers or hardware. This is why I suggest you take this back to the maker for resolution. If they can't fix it, bail out and try another machine.

The freezes usually come while i am playing games for a while. The freezes make my computer completely unresponsive and requires a hard shut down.
