I have replaced a lot more drives over the past few years. Too many Seagates that went 100% disk use and the clone copy is fine. Weird.
Anyhow, start with a CHKDSK /F /R /X on all drives and see if that helps.
After that, let's hear more about the PC.
1. Did you use DDU to remove the old GPU drivers?
More about at https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+use+ddu
2. How well do you know your PC?
For example, do you know all that is in your WEB SPECCY report?
a) read https://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/using-speccy/publishing-a-speccy-profile-to-the-web
b) post a WEB SPECCY so members can read and comment.
3. If the issue doesn't abate with items 1 and 2, be sure to scan for malware with Grif's help at
http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/how-to-remove-pup-option-603542/#post-f742c795-5881-433b-a29b-6d758efe5cd3
4. If the above doesn't clear it up, clone the drive and try it on the new drive.
Hi all,
i recently put a new gpu in my pc, which could be related to the issue I have. Sometimes, when I am playing a game, the computers disc usage light will stick on, all the fans start going, and the sound of the game keeps going for about 10 seconds before dying. What causes this?
