Vista has more issues and bugs than "Carter has liver pills". I have several unresolved issues that are unfixed now and from the beginning. Proper functioning is always problematic. Came installed on a brand new machine that is perfectly capable of handling the operating system.

Can you imagine a commercial enterprise trying to conduct business with such malfunctioning software. BEST???... may be if ever Microsoft gets it perfected.

Just my opinion.

An accurate count from deep inside Microsoft at the numbers of machines that MUST still run XP for their work to get done. I hear of various companies that have posted their business entity as "Not Vista, Not ever!" And from the dozen I've had to deal with, I agree from the deepest part of my DNA.

There's something very strange about Vista. It feels like what happened with the (loved?) Windows ME. While I'm updating my software and learning more all the time my advice to my clients is to wait if possible since it has this unfinished feel to it. For example why did they change from properties to personalize and then not all but here and there? The job feels half done.

UAC is an unmitigated disaster in the workplace here. It only takes a few days and then we turn it off. Another bright half baked idea.

Vista shows promise but also underdelivers.

My thoughts..

Vista is a fresh start for microsoft as it seems they are going for a new look for windows...I think Vista is a improvement from XP however the most popular apple program (iTunes) Has trouble working with Vista and seems to crash the computer before you even start to work with it....This happens with alot of programs, But I think at the current time all we can do is wait for time to tell really and see what Vista will pan out like..
After all Service pack 1 isn't even out yet, People judge thing far to quickly.

And it's still feels unfinished. Please tell me why the change from "properties" to "personalize" and why it's here and there but not everywhere.

There are other examples but I'm sticking to the one that has us wondering loudly.

Has happened too many times to me while using Vista. In some ways Vista is starting to fit but it's a wild wave ride of love and hate.
