Question

Why cant I get my ZTE Midnight Android to download apps?

Jan 23, 2015 8:28AM PST

Each time I attempt to download an APP I get an "error" message stating insufficient storage space. The specs claim a 512mb memory? Yet no app whatsoever will install due to this "error" I would appreciate any input or help.

Answer
512MB is pretty small.

It may be one of those value phones that only accept one or two apps and that's it. Since the space is non-expandable you learn from this phone and make sure your next phone has more than 512MB.

The specs say it will take a 32GB micro sd card.

There is/has been a question that flames folk.

"How do I install Android apps directly to SD cards?"

The answer is long but for now it's not supported. Even the move to SD Card is missing in the last KitKat and Lollipop's.

My Nexus 7 got the Lollipop.

And before that KitKat. Both had no move to SD card feature. There's a lot of posts about that and it's gone baby gone so folk ask about a direct to SD install for these really low memory devices and it can really toast those that have such.
