Why Can't my Browsers View Pages

Mar 16, 2005 6:54AM PST

Seemingly without provocation, none of my three browsers can see (or interpret) webpages. I am running Windows ME and have tried viewing pages with Netscape, Firefox and IE. The computer is connecting. When I open Netscape, the homepage reads "Bad Request (Invalid Verb)". When I go to Google.com, I get the message "The Document Contains No Data", on another page, I get "Invalid Request. The HTTP request presented by your browser is invalid." In Firefox, I get a blank page with "Done" in the lower left corner indicating that the page has loaded. In IE, I get a popup "Run-time error '5'. Invalid procedure call". I have uninstalled an reinstalled Netscape and Firefox. Typically, we don't use IE anyway, so I didn't bother. I've tried turning off my firewall (ZoneAlarm) to see if it makes a difference, but it doesn't. Any Ideas? Please HELP!
