General discussion

why can't i read the cnet forums?

May 15, 2007 9:41AM PDT

I joined the other day hoping to start posting in the Cnet forums, but i can't read any of the thread titles- they simply don't show up on the page, and there's no actual thread link to click on. I viewed the source HTML, and the thread titles are in fact there, so I'm thinking maybe it's a problem with my Javascript? But I checked and there's nothing disabled that would potentially cause this to happen... i've opened the Cnet forums page in IE 7, Firefox, with no luck. Anyone else have a similar problem?

I wouldn't disable Norton Norton Internet Security altogether. You need the firewall at least.

It's best to hunt down the setting/exclusion in Norton's options that is blocking these.
