Question

Why can't I download new episodes of TV shows I've purchased

Apr 26, 2015 9:19AM PDT

I'm about to tear my hair out. Each time I try to download a new TV episode video from last week (from the email I was sent stating the episode was now available for download), I keep being told I have to download iTunes. I HAVE iTunes! I've even removed it and started from scratch and the same message about downloading iTunes keeps appearing and won't let me go further. What is my problem?

Answer
Back to Apple.

The most common issue is some broken association from what's in the email to what Windows connects it to. It's too easy to break that. Forget what you get in the email, use iTunes to pick out your new shows.

But I can't find where to check for new content in this new version of iTunes.

So iTunes is busted?

I'll try that. I see no other alternative. I just want what I paid for and they can forget about seeing another penny from me. I have had too many bad experiences with them in the past few years. Each new update brings a new set of problems for me. I'm too old for this aggregation.
